ALILA RESORT HOI AN
This project beautifully captures the essence of Hoi An with its design rooted in the symbolic water canals, reminiscent of the Hoai River – a lifeline that shaped the historic town.
These tranquil water features are thoughtfully arranged at various levels, creating a natural division between two distinctive areas of the project.
Thoughtfully designed with varying heights to offer privacy and exclusivity, the hotel’s lower structures near the main road blend harmoniously with the surroundings. This allows for more rooms to be situated closer to the sea, ensuring guests are immersed in the peaceful rhythm of the ocean waves.
The villas are accessed through a shaded bamboo-lined pathway, creating a peaceful tunnel of greenery. Each group of villas is designed with unique landscapes that engage different senses—sight, smell, touch, and taste. Divided into three main spaces, the villa concept draws inspiration from Hoi An’s iconic lanterns, using wooden louvers to evoke this cultural icon.
The interior gardens feature tall palm trees that rise through the open spaces, bringing nature into every corner of the villas. The minimal use of boundaries enhances natural ventilation and maximizes the stunning views of the surrounding environment, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
