WYNDHAM RESORT PHU QUOC

The Wyndham is an 8 hectares resort planning area located in Phu Quoc.

The project location has the disadvantage of not being adjacent to the sea, so finding a design element that can create destination value is the top criterion set at the beginning of the design. After a period of research, we decided to bring traditional values into the project through a modern design language, which is the language of "village" and "neighborhood". When talking about the village, we think of winding dirt roads with two bamboo ramps growing closely. Roadside houses undulating, and each house has a courtyard for living and production.

On every summer festival, the whole village will gather in the communal house yard to participate in the festival together. We hope these values will be preserved and exploited in a more suitable perspective for the project. It's the proximity of space proportions, the structure of the courtyard, the small winding roads, ... That's all that the planning scheme is about. A traditional familiarity translated into modern language.
