LONG THUAN
MANSION
The project, with a total land area of nearly 29,000 m², aims not only to create a mere architectural structure but also to emphasize the importance of the landscape.
The plot features a small entrance accessible from the road, with the other side facing directly towards the Đồng Nai River. Designed as a weekend retreat for an extended family, the project places significant emphasis on relaxation and recreation.
The overall layout includes a main building centrally located on the plot, directly facing the river to optimize the beautiful view. Additional structures are tucked into corners around the site, making the main building appear more inviting. To create a stark contrast with the urbanized city, we designed a lush, green entrance path that meanders through grassy hills, gradually revealing the structure and providing an exciting sense of discovery.
The two-story building, with a floor area of 2,000 m², offers luxury and spaciousness for the owners. All rooms are oriented towards the river view, and the living spaces are designed to flow seamlessly from front to back. The central corridor provides convenient access and is ventilated by two large atriums with integrated landscaping, bringing a refreshing feeling when moving within the house.
The architecture creates spaces that allow residents to feel and interact with the surrounding landscape and environment. Specifically, the design includes enclosed and open spaces like a framed picture, offering a finite view that constantly changes with the light and scenery, providing an infinite sensory experience. The architecture also incorporates natural elements within the interior spaces, enhancing natural light and ventilation throughout the structure.
