WEEKEND HOUSE

The house is located in Lagi Town, Binh Thuan province, which has a typical tropical monsoon climate.

The client’s desire is to have a space having three seperated bedrooms to relax on weekend with family with moderate budget in 1.4 hectare land.

The project carries the challenge of adapting to the local climate with two distinct seasons, wet and dry. With the combination of local workers and materials to optimize construction time and cost to create a large, airy, clean and close living space. In addition, solving insects is also an interesting point of this project.

We conceive this as a space to thorughly connect everything. A space filled with light and wind, trees and flowers that creates the connection between people and nature.

The layout plan is a straight traffic route to connect all architectural elements as bedrooms, kitchen guests, toilets, ... together, and gardens are designed alternately between living space to create more privacy and natural communication.

The architectural facade is simply a random series of large and small openings in a large wall that is across the land. This is a thin line connecting the ground and the sky.

The garden landscape has a countryside atmosphere with straight clusters of trees. Besides, there are many spaces for trees shades in an outdoor space for the homeowner. The living room is the heart of the house with a view through the inner flower garden to the endless landscape space outside, forming layers of light and shaded.

This is not only a space for people but also a place where light, wind, flower scents ... blend and dance.
